Andy draws his inspiration for his paintings from his diverse career path including pop punk drummer, chimney sweep, forensic autopsy technician and now a practicing chiropractor. His paintings, rendered in the true outsider art/folk art method of using materials at hand, including cardboard, found wood panels and x-ray files, express his visual contemplation of our external influences; social, political and environmental impacts on our mental, spiritual and physical health. All prices below do not include shipping.

Also, please check out the collaboration between Mark Regester and Andy Dykeman called Old Bones, Inc. Andy and Mark are self-taught artists whose work reflects the DIY values and aesthetics that come from spending formative years immersed in the punk rock scene and playing in punk bands. Skulls, UFOs, ghosts, spines, brains and fire are all common themes in their work, with a healthy dose of writing and dark humor.
